For Upstate Art Weekend we partnered with Rosekill Art Farm and The Glasshouse Project to host a special outdoor screening of films by Carolee Schneemann focusing on the artist’s work in the Hudson Valley from the 1960s to 2008. The works which present Schneemann’s feminist take on sexuality could serve as a reminder to how joy could be a subversive act of resistance.

Saturday, July 23 8-10pm

155 Binnewater Road, Rosendale, NY 12401

Wood oven pizza will be available at 8pm, bonfire after screening. Admission is free ($10 suggested donation), rsvp encouraged but not required.

This evening is organized by Glasshouse, in partnership with the Carolee Schneemann Foundation and Rosekill Art Farm
