“Carolee Schneemann: Selected Performances and Video Art (1964-2010)” at Spectacle NYC

Throughout the month of November, Spectacle NYC will be hosting “Carolee Schneemann: Selected Performances and Video Art (1964-2010),” a program featuring 9 films spanning her entire career. Theater goers will get to see a very rare overview of the iconic video art and performances that Schneemann produced from the 1960s to the 2000s, including “Meat Joy” (1964), “Body Collage” (1967), “Souvenir of Lebanon” (1983), “Fresh Blood” (1983), “Catscan” (1988), “Ask the Goddess” (1991), “Interior Scroll - The Cave” (1995), “Vulva School” (1995), and “Americana | Ching Apple Pie” (2007).

There will be four screenings during the month of November: November 9th, 12th, 22nd, and 27th. Spectacle is located in Brooklyn, NY and shows are $5, or free for members. Click here to secure your tickets now!
